Design Process
1. Initial Call (Free)
Arrange a free call to discuss your ideas and to start considering design details. This call also allows us to decide whether we may be a good business fit.
(Typically ~30 minutes)
If agreed, you will be sent a quotation for the design project to decide if you wish to receive ideas of potential designs.
2. Design Ideas
Receive 3 draft ideas for layouts, colour schemes and fonts to choose one overall, high-level design to proceed with.
(Cost is 25% of the proposal price, but no obligation to proceed with full project. You are free to give the draft designs to other web designers. This cost will be taken off cost of full site project. Demos and drafts are hosted on my hosting package.)
If you wish to proceed, you will be sent business contracts to commit to the full design and build project. A further 25% deposit is payable at this stage to total 50%
3. Define Scope
Defining a project scope for website design is crucial to ensure a smooth and successful process.
By clearly outlining the objectives, approach, and expected results, we can align expectations and goals to help avoid misunderstandings, scope creep, and delays in delivery timelines.
With a defined scope, we all have a clear understanding of what to expect, allowing me to fully focus on delivering results that meets your needs and expectations.
4. Build Draft Site
Build your draft website to ensure the design aligns perfectly with your vision.
By creating a preliminary version, we can ensure that every element – colors, fonts, layout and imagery – reflects your desired branding vision.
With an iterative process allowing for constructive feedback and collaboration ensures the final website design is not only visually appealing but also a true representation of your brand identity.
5. Tuning
During the tuning stage of the design process, meticulous adjustments are made to the layout, imagery, colors, and overall look & feel of the site.
This fine-tuning process allows for the perfect realisation of the website with your goals. By collaborating closely and gathering feedback, we ensure that every element reflects your desired image.
The result is a visually appealing and authentic representation of your brand, engaging your ideal audience and bringing your ideas to life.
6. Launch
Once the fine-tuning has been made, we arrange testing and training before agreeing to full sign-off to launch the live site. As part of this process, we will work together to arrange any domain registration/transfer and finally migrating the draft site to your live site. Remaining 50% of agreed project cost payable at sign-off before full migration to your live hosting service.
